No matter how busy we are, our hearts will be still and rest.
Resting in the cross because it is our only hope. Clinging to the cross because in our darkest, He loves us. Hoping in the cross because our sins that nailed His hands to the tree are forgiven full and free, and this means eternal life.
The gospel is beautiful. It is full of hope. My soul, my hope, my life, and even my tomorrows, are secure in the hands that were wounded for me. Jesus the Messiah would bring redemption in justice and righteousness, and offer restoration and steadfast love. He also offers us full pardon, takes away all of our guilt, and disciples and purge’s to restore us. There is no greater love nor grace then the love of our Father.
>> Though we rebel and reject Him, He stands ready and waiting with arms opened wide. Oh how He loves you and me. ♥
And this is love, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins, – 1 John 4:10
On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
The emblem of suff’ring and shame;
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain. – The Old Rugged Cross.
