It took me this long to realize that I have not really every properly introduced myself, and told my complete story of how this blog came about. So, here goes…
First off, my name is Hannah. I’m 17, and a junior in high school. If I had to describe myself in a sentence, I would probably say that I am your typical introverted bookish person. Although I really do genuinely love people. I’m also a very artsy crafty person. Pinterest is very much my friend. I also love baking, photography, writing, and exploring. Above all, I could not live without my family and friends, and of course my Savior that has blessed me far more than I deserve.
My favorite quote:
I shake my head and smile in awe of God’s grace and forgiveness. Jesus is my all and all, and because of that, I praise Him.
The Story behind Simply His Daughter:
Around six months ago, I got this bright idea out of no where that I would create/write a blog to tell others about Him. Christ loves you so deeply and unconditionally that He sent His Son to die for your sins. To be honest, I was nervous. I had never really sat down and written a blog size post before. I didn’t even really know if I was going to be capable of doing this. So, I immediately started praying. “God, if this is something that you want me to do, please give me the words. Help me to be a light to this lost world.” A few days later, I decided that this was something that I felt led to do. That is the day that Simply His Daughter was founded.
Honestly, you guys have blessed me far more than I could have ever imagined. I started this hoping to encourage, bless and challenge you, but you have been all of those things plus so much more to me. I think of y’all as my online family. Yes, I might not ever physically be able to see you face to face, but you are such a blessing to me anyway. Thank You for such an encouraging and amazing 2016! Your love and sweet comments are such an encouragement to me when I’m having a bad day. Thank you for building me up, and telling me to never give up even when I may get tired. I’m just so thankful! Words can’t even express my gratitude.
There is just something so beautiful about writing. When I write, I just can’t help but smile. Being able to share with the world about my Savior make my heart sing. There is no better feeling in all the world. This blog is my passion, my joy and my heart. I’m so thankful that the Lord has greatly blessed me with this wonderful opportunity to share with you all.
My favorite verse:
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. -Galations 2:20
I pray and hope that you have a very blessed and happy 2017 as we serve our Savior. Love to you always!
