“Do you love your sin more than you love your God?”
Wow!! I think this is something none of us have probably ever asked ourselves. Personally, I find this really convicting. I know it makes me really think about what is more important in my life. Sin, or God??
“You can choose your sin, but you can not choose the consequences of your sin.”
God will punish us one way or another for our sin, whether it be now, or on judgment day. We will be judged for our sin, and it won’t be pretty. As sinful corrupt humans, we don’t think about what the consequences of our sin might be. We get so caught up in sinning, that we don’t even realize that what we are doing is wrong. Maybe you have committed a certain sin so many times that it becomes second nature to you. It’s something that you just do. Maybe you just commit that sin every once in a while. Isn’t that ok??
NO!! Sin is sin in God’s eyes. It is all wrong no matter how big the sin is. Sin separates us from Him. Think of it as an invisible wall between you & God. Why would you want to do something that separates you from Him?? You have two choices, right or wrong, God or the devil, light or darkness. Think about this, do you choose light or darkness??
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” -Romans 6:23
Just look around, sin is why our world is so corrupt today, our world that we live in is a lost place that needs the good news of Jesus Christ. That’s why witnessing has been such a burden of mine lately. We have a huge mission field right outside our door. How are you going to use such a vast opportunity??
For we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. -Romans 3:23
As Christians, we should be spotless, blameless and wrinkle free. We should be setting an example to all those around us. We should be standing out amongst the lost world, to witness and proclaim Christ. We should have a burden for all the lost souls all around us that are on their way to hell.
If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son cleanses us from all sin. -1 John 1:7
Where sin runs deep, His grace runs deeper.
